First, we believe education is a priority!
Network members receive a set of educational DVDs featuring leading instructors and legal experts teaching:

• The legal parameters of use of deadly force for self-defense.
• Handling the aftermath of a shooting.
• Post shooting legal concerns.

Network members encouraged to pursue continuing education through national and regional Network training conferences (inaugural conference scheduled for 2009).

Providing Legal Support When It Is Most Needed
Members who have been involved in a self-defense incident receive the following:

• The Network will pay in full for one of our experts to review the case file of a member who is being unmeritoriously prosecuted or who is facing civil law suit, and make recommendations to that member's attorney.
• Use of force experts recommend defense strategies to the member’s attorney at no charge.

Network Affiliated Attorneys and Experts
Members enjoy exclusive access to a list of Network-affiliated attorneys.

• Once this list is established, members will be encouraged to contact their local Network-affiliated attorney and set up an attorney-client relationship.
• Network-affiliated attorneys will have access to our court recognized legal experts with knowledge of the many facets of armed self-defense, who can assist in the member’s court case.

Funding the Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Foundation
20% of all Network membership dues and 100% of all corporate sponsorship contributions go directly to the Armed Citizens' Legal Defense Foundation.

• A member who has been involved in a self-defense incident can request assistance with legal fees.
• Leading experts in the field of armed self defense comprise the Advisory Board of the Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Foundation. John Farnam, Massad Ayoob, Tom Givens and Jim Cirillo, Jr., J. Vincent Shuck (ex-officio) and Marty Hayes (ex-officio) currently comprise the advisory board, with additional advisory board members coming soon.
• If a member requests financial assistance, the board investigates the incident and decides how much financial assistance to grant.

Network officers are currently enrolling Corporate sponsors, Instructor members and others who may offer—

• Class tuition discounts offered by the Network’s Instructor members.
• Discounts on books and DVDs sold on the Network website at reduced prices for members only.

Who Can Join?
The Network reaches out to legally-armed citizens who can show proof of a clean criminal history.

• Applicants for membership must provide a copy of a valid concealed weapons permit as a evidence of good character. Non-resident Utah and Florida permits accepted.
• Yearly dues for Network membership are $85 and 20% of all membership dues goes directly to fund the Legal Defense Fund, a separate non-profit entity.
• Memberships are accepted by telephone at 360-978-5200.
